Murals Dedication on the Sullivan Drive Bridge in Guilford

New England Trail Dedication

by Peter Otis On Sunday, June 8, 2014, Chittenden Park became THE spot to be in Guilford. The Dedication of the Southernmost Point on the New England Trail was dedicated. "From the Sound to the Summits" is a mantra that will be followed by many hikers who will travel through nearly 10% of the trail in Guilford as it stretches to Mount Monadnock in New Hampshire. Michael Greco Wins Guilford 375th Anniversary Photo Contest

Michael Greco, a graduate of Guilford High School Class of 2014, was the winner of the photo contest sponsored by the Guilford 375th Anniversary Committee for GHS students.  Michael’s photo of the Goss Property, now part of the East River Preserve, captured the greatest number of Committee votes. History came alive on the gorgeous spring day of May 31, 2014, when the Guilford Green was abuzz with stories, music, dance, theatre, horse-drawn carriages and more, channeling 1860's America. Guilford and Madison to Unite in Interfaith Prayer Service on July 13

Dedication of Guilford Pocket Park

To commemorate the 375th Anniversary of Guilford and the 75th Anniversary of the Guilford Garden Club, The Club will dedicate Rollwood Park, at the corner of Stonehouse Lane and Old Whitfield Street, to the Town of Guilford on June 7 at 1 pm.
